The Mexican extreme Diego Lainez, 20 years old, will not move from Real Betis, despite the fact that in these last hours of the market there have been several teams that have been interested in their transfer, cases of Eibar, Cádiz, Huesca or Levante. This was confirmed this Thursday at noon by the agent of the Mexican player, Rodrigo Alfonso, on Canal Sur Radio.
The Mexican coach Tata Martino has called up Lainez and Guarded in the last hours for the next friendlies that the Mexican team will play in Europe, specifically against the Netherlands and Algeria in Amsterdam and The Hague, respectively, now during the national team break.
Lainez missed last Tuesday's game in Getafe because of gastric problems that have prevented him from training with his teammates throughout the week, making it a doubt for Saturday's clash at Mestalla against Valencia.
For Saturday's game, Pellegrini will not be able to count on the sanctioned Mandi, nor the goalkeepers Claudio Bravo and Dani Martín nor the right-back Martín Montoya, although for that position he recovers Emerson, once his sanction has been served.
