La Rosaleda points to José Alberto

Juan Muñoz made it 0-2 for Leganés in the 79th minute. La Rosaleda exploded. “Jose Alberto, resign!”. The song had its origin in the Fondo Sur 1904 but the vast majority of the stadium was added to it. The stands exploded against their coach, who was assisting immovably in the band of La Rosaleda at a disastrous match for his team. That 0-2 was born in a dangerous foul in favor of Malaga in which the Blue and Whites stripped completely and left the entire field ahead of the rival. The clearance was a race at Randolevic’s pleasure to goal. There he attended Juan Muñoz. The outcome was the monumental fight against the Asturian coach.

From there to the end, the “José Alberto, resign!” rumbled several more times. He was also joined by a few “Where is José Alberto?” when the coach assumed defeat and secluded himself on his bench in the final moments. As the referee signaled the end of the clash, the players received a light whistle. But nevertheless, Most of them came to thank the South Fund for their support and received a standing ovation at the same time that the stands charged the coach again.

José Alberto spoke after the game about the criticism received by the stands: “I understand the anger of the fans, we are in a bad streak. We had a bad game and I understand the fans. I respect it a lot and understand it. The team has not been at the level that we are used to. We are very weakened with the losses we have and the team is noticing it a lot in this part of the season. Today it has been seen. We always try to get the most out of the players, compete at the best level. But it is difficult when you do not have tools to be able to do things. Although I fully understand anger and respect it very much, the fans are sovereign. I feel very supported by everyone. We are disappointed, hurt and sad. The fans deserved to end the year well. I feel the full support of everyone, I cannot tell you anything else because it is what I feel and what they convey to me”.

The concern generated by Malaga is palpable and is increasing. The team does not show continuity and alternates more or less decent and praiseworthy performances such as Eibar with infamous matches such as against Amorebieta or Leganés. It is evident that the level of the team has dropped a lot. The spark that Málaga gave off in their first home games has disappeared. Now doubts prevail and the coach is in the trigger. The message they transmit from the La Rosaleda offices is one of tranquility, but no one can hide that the dynamics that the blue and white team has taken are very worrying. Hectic hours are coming in Martiricos.

“The break is great for us”

As for the game itself, the blue and white coach acknowledged Leganés’ superiority: “We have met with a rival who has been better than us, has surpassed us and we have not been comfortable at any time. They are a very mature team, they know how to play with the scoreboard in favor and the game was very difficult for us. It is important to recover the casualties that we have. The worst news of all today is not the defeat, which also, but the injury again of Hicham. It is sad news for everyone. They have to do tests, but it is something muscular again”.

The Asturian is grateful for the league break, during which he hopes to recover a good part of the injured: “The break is great for us. We hope to be able to recover several very important players when they return from vacation.. They will give us different tools that we don’t have now. It is not an apology, it is reality. We lack players who give us football, players who play more together. We’ve lost that pressure a little bit after loss. Before we recovered very quickly. We have a very good squad that at this moment is annoyed by the situation we have. We will see a good Malaga again, we will achieve it again”.
