La Real cannot beat Pacheco

Never before has a match between Alavés and Real Sociedad ended with a 0-0 draw in Mendizorroza. Good for one or the other, but goals had always been scored. La Real did not take advantage of Battaglia's expulsion in the 60th minute and ended up drawing a draw with an exceptional Fernando Pacheco.

At the loss of Oyarzabal, the San Sebastian had to add Silva, who was ruled out before the game due to discomfort in the left thigh. It will be necessary to see if they are only minor problems or if it is a relapse into his most recurrent injury. The crash was played quite cold (4 degrees to start) and with a lot of rain. The conditions were not comfortable at all and there were some slips.

In 4, Isak tried but Pacheco was attentive. A couple of minutes later it was Joselu who threw a Vaseline that went a little high above Remiro. Duarte also tried but his shot went too cross. The shock, which had started very intense and with a high rhythm, gradually diminished. Merino and Merquelanz also tried but the score did not move. Lejeune (who will not play in Huesca for five yellows) marked Portu's thigh and received a well-deserved warning.

The recital of the Alavés goalkeeper began to be seen for real in the 54th minute when Pacheco took a frank shot from Isak, quite unfortunate in Vitoria. The key came with the expulsion of Battaglia, which left the home team totally helpless. Something must have said that the referee didn't like it at all. From there, the babazorros were entrusted to Pacheco and dedicated themselves to defending, with a lot of order indeed.

Alavés reconverted his drawing and settled with a 4-4-1. First he put Lucas as a midfielder and then he reinforced the core with the entries of Martín and Edgar. La Real pressed theirs but the goalkeeper of the Alava team made several worthwhile saves and allowed it to end with a 0-0 that left Real quite unsatisfied. The people from Vitoria, on the other hand, did quite a bit by adding a point as things turned out when they kept ten.
