The Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova beat (7-6 (14), 6-2) this Saturday the Kazakh Elena Rybakina in the final of the Miami tournament, a category 1,000 appointment for the WTA that was won for the first time by a veteran of the circuit who , at 33 years old, returns to the ‘Top 10’ in the world.
Kvitova frustrated the recent champion in Indian Wells with a tension-filled first set in tiebreak. The Czech had five partial balls and the Kazakh four, with something more than the sleeve for a Kvitova who found more facilities in the second set.

With a great serve that earned her the title, Kvitova lifted the thirtieth trophy of her record after almost two hours until the end and will return to the ‘Top 10’ for the first time since September 2021.
