The Spanish referee Carlos del Cerro Grande, from the Madrid Referees Committee, has been designated as four referee for the final of the Eurocopa 2020, which takes place this Sunday (9:00 p.m.) between the teams of Italy and England at Wembley Stadium.
Del Cerro will be the fourth official of a team led by the Dutch Björn Kuipers, the one in charge of dispensing justice in the final to be held in London. The experienced referee -48 years old- has been international since the 2006/07 season and will whistle his seventh final of a UEFA competition.
In addition, Kuipers will be accompanied by his compatriots, assistants Sander van Roekel and Erwin Zeinstra, while the role of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) has been assigned to Bastian Dankert (Germany), who will be accompanied by Pol van boekel (Netherlands), Christian gittelmann Y Marco Fritz (both from Germany). The Spanish Juan Carlos Yuste Jimenez completes the line-up as a substitute assistant referee.
