Kubo “teaches” the Japanese how to wash their hands

The Japanese footballer of Mallorca Takefusa Kubo has recorded a video in which he teaches his compatriots how to follow proper hygiene in handwashing with the aim of stopping the coronavirus pandemic.

In the recording released by the Balearic club, Kubo uses liquid soap at homeHe rubs his hands together vigorously and dries them with a towel.

Always using his native language, The Japanese extreme insists on the need to adopt all the necessary measures to reduce the growth curve of the pandemic.

The video has collected more than 1,700 “likes” on social media and various comments on Kubo's initiative to assist in the fight against Covid-19.

This is not the first time that the player on loan from Real Madrid to Mallorca until June 30 has spoken about the disease. Last February he admitted his “great concern” about the coronavirus and its possible impact on the development of the Tokyo Olympic Games.

“I am very concerned about the subject; my country is having a hard time because of the coronavirus and I hope that everything is resolved quickly because we cannot do anything, ”explained Kubo at the press conference prior to Getafe's visit to the Son Moix stadium.

Kubo, like the rest of the Vermilion squad, is following from his home the protocols assigned by the club's medical services to maintain his physical shape during the two-week break in LaLiga. The suspension of days 28 and 29 of the championship has coincided with the best moment of the Asian extreme since his arrival in Mallorca last August.

He scored in the draw against Betis at the stadium Benito Villamarín (3–3) and in the victory at home in the Eibar field (1–2), the first that the team led by coach Vicente Moreno conquers away from Son Moix.

Kubo has consolidated into Moreno's starting team and forms a fearsome trident in the attack with the Colombian Juan Camilo “Cucho” Hernández and the Croatian Ante Budimir.

Named as the “Japanese Messi”, Kubo hoped to offer his best version last Saturday against Barcelona, the club where he formed football, but that goal will have to wait until LaLiga resumes.
