Koundé: “Changing clubs is a possibility but there is still nothing”

Jules Koundé offered his first press conference as an absolute international for France on Friday and the words of the young center-back from the concentration of Clairefontaine could not leave Sevilla more uneasy. Logically, Koundé was questioned about his future after his two great seasons at Nervión and the former Girondins player did not mince words.

“Changing clubs this summer is a possibility, although nothing has been done yet. My goal is to grow in a great club to always try to progress and win titles”, were the concise but forceful words of Koundé. “I may have to move, but it is not the issue now,” concluded the central defender so that the appearance would turn again towards the issues concerning the selection of France.

In Sevilla, they are very aware that Koundé has all the ballots to go out in this market. Last year an effort was made referring to the 90 million clause and not accepting the 50 that Manchester City offered. Now, after a second season in LaLiga that has done nothing more than confirm that he has ceased to be a player with a great projection to a reality, to which is added his presence in the Eurocup showcase, the future of Koundé is more in the air than ever.
