Koeman gives himself five days

The FC Barcelona squad will enjoy a five-day semi-vacation in the next week. Ronald Koeman has planned only three workouts for this week -Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday-, to no longer return to work until next Monday, October 11. Thus, practically five days of holidays: the team will have 'free' from Wednesday afternoon until the following Monday afternoon.

Evidently, as the team has a stoppage of competition for the national teams, it is common for the intensity of work to be lowered and a change of ‘chip’ is sought among those who stay in Barcelona, but so far he had never allowed so many holidays. It is also surprising because the team is showing serious shortcomings in tactical work and offers many doubts on the field of play.

Koeman will have a total of ten casualties for the international call -Luuk, Frenkie and Memphis (Holland), Dest (United States), Demir (Austria), Ter Stegen (Germany), Sergio Busquets, Gavi and Eric (Spain) and Nico (sub'21) – to which we must add still the injured Pedri, Agüero, Dembélé, Balde and Braithwaite.

What seems more than evident is that the situation of the team (ninth in LaLiga and bottom in the Champions League) does not allow many more joys and concessions, so everyone will have to start getting their batteries, starting with the coach, who has been wearing the rope around his neck since the summer.
