Koeman: “A Barça with hunger”

Ronald Koeman spoke at a face-to-face press conference after Dinamo-Barça played at the Olimpiyskiy in Kiev. These were his statements after the game.

Should a central be signed?

We have seen a very hungry team, which has given a good image. From 0-1 we have had a great game, we have scored four goals. Important people have rested and young people have fulfilled. Players can always be highlighted on an individual level. The objective was qualification and we have achieved it.

Will we see this lineup more often?

It is time to rest some players who have played an incredible number of games. It is a moment to rest. We will play nine more games until the end of the year. Sometimes you have to rest. There are always opportunities for players who have played little. It is important to see these players.

How do you see Griezmann, will he miss the goal? What does it take to be happy?

I have already said several times that I have seen him happy, that he likes to work and give his best. Too bad he hasn't been lucky enough to score more goals. It has had its chances. It is one more goal that gives some confidence. The substitution is for physical issue.

Do you see Mingueza prepared to have that continuity?

He is a young boy, he has been at Barça for many years. He has to improve like any young player. But it has made a better impression.

It can be a difference in freshness. We have done well to put some players to rest. We have noticed. The image has been good, the hunger to press. We have improved things. We know that any player on our squad has quality with the ball, but without the ball it is important.
