Kimmich is positive for coronavirus

MADRID, 24 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The German midfielder Joshua Kimmich will be out in the next Bayern Munich games after testing positive for coronavirus, as confirmed on Wednesday by the Bavarian team, which already has five isolated players for this reason.

The international, who has been at the center of controversy in recent weeks after acknowledging that he had not been vaccinated against the virus, is “confined to his home and well.” The player already had to isolate himself with his team during the last break due to being in close contact with defender Niklas Suele.

In addition, Bayern confirmed that striker Eric Choupo-Moting has also tested positive and is isolated at home, so they both join Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Michael Cuisance, who have been discharged for the same reason.
