Khedira is fed up with his situation at Juventus and wants to leave

Sami Khedira has said enough. The Juventus midfielder has seen his importance in Vecchia Signora decline with the passing of the seasons, to the point of being pushed aside by Andrea Pirlo from his new project. At first, the former German international refused to rescind the contract of 6 million euros per year (“mercenary decision”, they accused in Italy) that united him to the Italian champions, but now everything has changed, according to the publication of the Bild. The German newspaper notes that Khedira has grown tired of his situation and is determined to change of scene in January, when the winter window opens wide.

The contract that binds him to the Turin team ends next JuneTherefore, initially, and in view of the succession of events and decisions, he was expected to hasten his stay in Turin until then. However, as we say, tEverything has changed and he intends to advance his goodbye to Juve. The destination is unclear, although from the Bild indicate that you do not have in mind a 'retirement' from football at the highest level, ruling out, in this way, exotic options or possible marches to MLS, as recently ex-teammates like Blaise Matuidi and Gonzalo Higuaín have, now flag bearers of Beckham's Inter Miami.

Last year he started it as a starter for Maurizio Sarri (He started 10 of the first 13 days of Serie A and in the first 4 Champions League matches), but an injury to the knee, first, and to the adductor, later, left him in the dry dock for practically the rest of the season (He played 28 minutes in the second leg against Milan between one mishap and another). This season, at 33 years old, already recovered from physical problems, he has not dressed short in any game, a fact that has precipitated the decision to exit.

The end of a stage that began in 2015 is approaching. At that moment, Khedira would leave a Real Madrid in which he would also spend five years (from 2010 to 2015) to test in his third major championship, after the Bundesliga (with Stuttgart) and LaLiga. In Turin he has played 145 games, scored 21 goals and distributed 13 assists, showing, at times, a much more offensive facet, similar to the one he played in the German team, than the one he had entrusted in the Spanish capital.
