Key day for Messi

Totally ruled out for tonight's game against Metz, Leo Messi has this Thursday a key day for the evolution of the injury in the upper part of the left knee that he suffered on Sunday against Lyon. PSG confirmed yesterday the Argentine star's contusion and revealed that, this Thursday, he will undergo a new test that will determine the extent of the injury.

At the moment, his presence against Montpellier on Saturday is neither ruled out nor can it be confirmed. Until the resonance is done, Messi will not know if he can enter the call for the meeting on Saturday. In Paris they want to be cautious, since Pochettino does not want to lose him for a long timeThe clearest evidence being Sunday's change for Achraf when PSG was drawing 1-1 against Lyon.

The objective of PSG is that Messi is available, without taking any risk, on Tuesday against Manchester City. After the draw against Brujas on matchday 1, the presence of Rosario in the match is vital to try to assault the group lead. Therefore, tomorrow's tests will be decisive to see how Pochettino manages the evolution of the injury of the star signing of PSG in the summer.
