Kevin Gameiro 'left' four points in the Cesarini zone

Kevin Gameiro returned to Valencia from Eibar with the same feeling of bitterness as weeks before from Vitoria. The Frenchman once again had the winning goal in his boots in the so-called 'Cesarini zone', in the last gasp of the match. Gameiro 'left' two points in Ipurúa as he left them in Mendizorroza, in two hands to hands in which the goalkeepers won the battle.

Gameiro, who has not yet premiered so far this season and who is experiencing the worst start of his career, he received at least the endorsement of his coach. Javi Gracia, who described Gameiro's occasion as “very clear”, said about the Frenchman “He works very well every day and whenever he has minutes he is having chances, or he attends Manu Vallejo as he did on Alavés day. He does not have many games from the beginning or continuity and thus it is not easy to show his best version, but I think he has to be an important player who has to help us from now until the end of the season ”.

Gameiro and his drama with the goal

Gameiro scored his last goal on July 16, against Espanyol at Mestalla. His face-to-door drought has now lasted almost five months. The Frenchman has not yet scored this season and the drama that he lives with the goal is already tangible. In fact, Gameiro is signing his worst campaign going to door. Never before, with twelve days elapsed, had his scoreboard at zero.

Gameiro, 33, has been in professional football for 16 seasons. All that time has given him to go through flashy teams, such as PSG, Atlético, Sevilla and now Valencia. To find a Gameiro without a goal like the current one you have to go back to the beginnings of the French in Strasbourg. Gameiro, in the 2005-06 season, his debut at the professional level, took longer than now to score his first goal in a course. Except for that year, the Frenchman had always launched his account at this point. Even for many years he stood out for his good starts.

Gameiro has only played three starting matches, but has participated in nine games so far. The Frenchman has had opportunities to debut, as in Mendizorroza or Eibar. Gracia has him as a revulsive because right now of the five players who have played at the top, Gameiro is fourth in minutes (363 '). Maxi (877 minutes), Guedes (626 ') and Kang-In (446') have participated more than the French, who only surpasses Manu Vallejo (335 ') in minutes. SHowever, the man from Cádiz has scored three goals, the antithesis of Kevin.
