Kely, Pelé’s daughter, updates her father’s state of health from the hospital: “In the fight”

This Christmas is being very complicated for the family of Skin. The former Brazilian soccer player has been admitted to the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo for a few days, due to complications derived from the cancer he suffers from.

To reassure his fans, and the entire world that is watching how the three-time World Cup winner is progressing, his daughter Small has shared a photo with his father from the hospital. “We are still here, in the fight and in the faith. One more night together,” she wrote.

At the beginning of December, it was Pelé himself who sent a message of calm through social networks: “My friends, I want to keep everyone calm and positive. I am strong, with a lot of hope and I follow my treatment as always. I want to thank to the entire medical and nursing team for all the attention I have received”.

“I have a lot of faith in God and every message of love I receive from you around the world keeps me full of energy. And look at Brazil in the World Cup too! Thank you very much for everything,” he added then. The last medical report maintains hope regarding the life of the former athlete, although without a doubt his health is going through the most delicate moment.
