N'Golo Kanté has been ordered to appear in court to help resolve a € 3.5m legal battle with his former agent. The French footballer has received the summons after a dispute over his contract with Nouari Khiari, his representative, from whom he severed his services in the transfer to Chelsea.
As published L'Equipe, his former agent alleges that he is owed about 3.5 million euros after the contract that Kanté signed with Adidas. After failing to reach an agreement between them, Khiari has summoned Kanté to face each other in court. The representative ensures that he is owed remuneration as stipulated in the contract.
After the separation of both, Kanté has tried to resolve these problems without the need to go to trial. In fact, the Frenchman already explained his disagreements more than a year ago: “I think my trust was abused, I was too kind. We had reached an agreement to terminate the contract, but this person returned. At the same time, he circulated slander pressure on me or my environment. So I took steps to separate myself from it as soon as possible, “Kanté said.
