Kang In and Manu Vallejo give air to Valencia in the discount

A goal by Manu Vallejo in the 93rd minute after a great pass from Kang In Lee, and another already in 98 'by Kevin Gameiro, gave Valencia the victory this Saturday against Celta de Vigo when the Galician team already savored a point that It tasted like glory for having played the last half hour with one less due to the expulsion of goalkeeper Rubén Blanco. The three points suppose a breath of air for those of Mestalla and for their technician Javi Gracia.

He started the game stumbling because of the interruptions and did not pick up pace in almost an hour. Only one play altered the torpor of the first half. It was a volley shot by Daniel Wass that ended up in the Galician goal. But the linesman was right to annul it, as confirmed by the VAR.

Both teams took turns putting pressure on their opponents up front without either taking anything out. Uros Racic continued short-circuiting the Galician attack and Tapia the Valencian. The will of both teams did not give them more chances in the first half. The momentum of Kang In and Santi Mina stayed at that.

Nothing changed on his return to the pitch until the struggling South Korean put a pass into the hole to Maxi Gómez. The Uruguayan arrived before Rubén Blanco, who stepped on him on his way out of the area. Inexplicably, neither Valentín Pizarro Gómez nor his linesman whistled anything and he had to notify the VAR and insist Gayà (who was already yellow) to see him and expel the goalkeeper. Coudet took hold of Iván Villar and retired Facundo. The South Korean wasted the foul but his team had almost half an hour ahead with superiority and put Kevin Gameiro to add troops to the siege.

The Frenchman had the first after a center from Kang In but Villar played just enough for him not to arrive. But the minutes passed and Celta saw that it was not so bad, Coudet sent his team up and an arrival of Nolito after a throw-in forced the ‘debutante’ Jasper Cillessen to debut.

The minutes were falling and Valencia could not find the key to open the visiting defense. But opting once Kang In appeared to filter a pass to Vallejo who seemed to center but saw how the ball slipped through the long post of an impotent Villar, who had to see how Kevin Gameiro scored a 2-0 already in the 98th minute. unreal for what was seen on the pitch and the Galician merits.
