Kaká, ready to take the leap

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, better known as Kaká, will always be remembered as one of the great Brazilian midfielders of the 21st century, but who knows if, from now on, the one who was a star for AC Milan and spent four seasons wearing the shirt of the Real Madrid will also not make a name for itself on the benches. Once the 2016/2017 season was over, the former Ballon d’Or winner in 2007 hung up his boots at Orlando City after three seasons in the MLS. Now, at 40, the former Brazilian soccer player is ready to become a coach.

Through a photograph on his Instagram account, The Brazilian has announced that he already has his coaching license, granted by the CBF Academy. More specifically, the ‘Lincença A’. This is not the highest diploma that there is in the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation), since above it is the PRO, a license to which only CBF guests have access. However, the A License is a prerequisite and necessary to qualify for said PRO License. In this way, It is likely that Kaká will now be invited to take the course that accredits him with the highest distinction as a CBF coachwith which he could train in any category and to any team.

The former Brazilian soccer player accompanied said photograph with a message: “One more course completed. Qualified trainer.” In addition, he joked that “now only the team is missing”. In this way, Kaká returns to the scene. Disconnected from football since his retirement, except for collaborations with Adidas and EA Sports FIFA, the former Milan and Real Madrid player is now ready to begin his career on the bench.
