Juventus wants to play it against Atlético with Morata

The Atletico Madrid will have to solve the next summer market a problem with the matter of Alvaro Morata. The situation seems to get complicated as the season progresses and the time approaches when the Juventusthe club in which he is on loan from the rojiblanco team, has to deal with the purchase of the player.

In this sense, the news coming from Italy is not exactly reassuring. The newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ details some details of the plan of the Piedmontese square. And it follows from him that Juventus will put pressure on the Athletic and that he could even play it.

Alvaro Moratto returned to the Juventus the summer of 2020 with the formula of a two-year loan, ten million euros each, with a purchase clause for 35 million euros. This is the sum that the club of the Juventus must enter the coffers of the Atletico Madrid to make sure Spanish. He is still a very appreciated footballer for Massimiliano Allegri.

He is the footballer with the most games this season, a sign that the Tuscan coach is betting on him. However, the club’s strategy seems to be different. They want the Spanish international yes, but without having to pay what was agreed.

When the Athletic signed to Morata the Chelsea In January 2020, he paid 18 million euros and completed the transfer in the subsequent summer, paying another 35 million. So the operation meant 53 million euros in total. In short, the mattress club would be condemned to losses if it accepted in 2022 a figure lower than that agreed in September 2020 with the ‘bianconeri’. Hence, Atlético has already made it known to the Italian team that it cannot accept reductions in what has been agreed.

TWO POSSIBILITIES

With this scenario, Juventus handles two possibilities. The first, as published ‘La Gaceta dello Sport’ this very week, it would be a full-fledged trick for the Athletic. If the mattress club does not access the 15 million that the Italian team wants to offer as a maximum, it threatens to return the player, that he fulfills the year of his remaining contract with the mattress entity, to keep it for free one course later. In this way, the Athletic I wouldn’t notice anything.

The second option, spread the financial burden over at least two years (if not three), but always with the assignment formula. The problem in this sense is that the regulations FIFA on loans will change for the coming course and it is not very clear if it could be done.
