Juve-Napoli: defeat and point of punishment for the azzurri

After having rejected the appeal of Roma, the appeal court of the Italian Football Federation did the same with that of Naples, confirming 0-3 loss and a penalty point for not having presented to the game with Juventus on October 4.

According to the court, the behavior in the days before Juve-Napoli show the search, by the Azzurro club, for “an excuse not to play the game“, since” it is difficult to understand why the club asked the health authorities for clarification on a protocol that it has already applied several times. “The court stressed that Napoli were also disrespectful towards the other Serie A clubs, “that in similar or even more complicated situations, they played their matches”.

The legal battle, however, is not over: the Neapolitan entity will also appeal to the court of the Olympic Committee, third and last degree of Italian sports justice.
