Sevilla FC defender Juanlu Sánchez has replaced the injured UD Las Palmas midfielder Alberto Moleiro in the concentration of the Spanish men’s U-21 team for Tuesday’s match against Belgium, qualifying for the European Championship.
“Santi Denia has called up Juanlu Sánchez, a Sevilla FC player, to replace Alberto Moleiro, from UD Las Palmas, for the match that the Spanish U-21 team must face this Tuesday against Belgium in Almería. Moleiro is absent due to physical problems,” reported the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
The U-21 fell on Thursday against Slovakia (0-2), host of the European 2025 category, at the Chapín Municipal Stadium in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). Now, Santi Denia’s men will try to recover their feelings on Tuesday against Belgium in Almería, a match in the qualifying phase for the continental tournament.
