Spanish power forward Juancho Hernangómez made his debut this morning with Minnesota Timberwolves starting from starting and celebrating it with a victory against Los Angeles Clippers (142-115), on an NBA day in which Toronto Raptors signed a tight fourteenth consecutive win against Brooklyn Nets (119-118) and in which Ricky Rubio and his Phoenix Suns fell at home to Denver Nuggets (108-117).

The little one from the Hernangómez, who left the Colorado franchise this week, stood out in his premiere with the renewed Minneapolis team, where Juancho's Denver teammate Malik Beasley (23) also made his debut and who still couldn't enjoy his other brand new signing, D'Angelo Russell.

The Madrid player, who started, enjoyed almost 27 minutes on the court, in which he had time to score 14 points -4 of 6 field shots, including 3 of 3 triples, and 3 of 4 from the staff line-, capture a bounce, give three assists and recover a ball. With this result, the Wolves, penultimate of the West, interrupt an ominous streak of 13 straight defeats.

For their part, the Raptors continue to increase their winning streak, this time against the Nets, to take hold in the second position of the Eastern Conference (39-14). On this occasion, the Spanish-Congolese power forward Serge Ibaka contributed, in 32 minutes, with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 stopper.

Meanwhile, the Catalan center Marc Gasol was down for the sixth consecutive game because of his left thigh injury, which will foreseeably keep him off the court until after the All Star next week in Chicago.

In addition, Ricky Rubio fell to the Nuggets and the Suns remain penultimate of the West. The base of El Masnou, who started as a starter, contributed 15 points, captured 5 rebounds and offered 7 assists in his 32 minutes of participation.

Finally, Willy Hernangómez did not participate, by technical decision, in the defeat of Charlotte Hornets against Dallas Mavericks (100-116), a duel in which Seth Curry, with 26 goals, made forget the absences of the injured Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis
