Juan Carlos I, with his Bribón, is proclaimed world winner in the Isle Wight regattas

The Emeritus King, 85 years old, has revalidated his world title for the third time and has been proclaimed winner of the 6M class in the World Regatta Championship that was held these days on the Isle of Wight, south of England.

In a good mood, eager to embark on his Bribón 500 and sail. Juan Carlos I arrived this week at the marina on the Isle of Wight, headquarters of the world sailing championship, which has been held since September 4. The Emeritus King, who has won twice, has achieved his third victory in this competition.

Since the 1st of this month, Felipe VI’s father has been on the English island. His daughter Elena, who is very close to him, has accompanied him.
