Luka Jovic will pay 30,000 euros to avoid going to jail for having skipped the confinement in Belgrade last March. As reported by Cadena COPE, the striker reached an agreement with the Serbian authorities to avoid being imprisoned: he will pay those 30,000 euros of fine and thus avoid a six-month sentence that had been imposed on him in March.
The Madrid striker left for Serbian lands during confinement in March. While there, he breached the 14 days of confinement, something mandatory that the Serbian government launched on the population of the Balkan country to stop the COVID-19 pandemic: he was discovered in the streets of Belgrade celebrating the birthday of his girlfriend Sofija Milojevic.
