José Pacheco, Atlético de Madrid exporter and winner of three Leagues, two Cups and the Intercontinental, dies

Atlético de Madrid announced this Wednesday the death at the age of 75 of José Pacheco, goalkeeper for the Atletico team between 1967 and 1979, with whom he won three League titles, two Cups and the Intercontinental Cup.

“Atlético de Madrid is in mourning for the death of our former player José Pacheco. The goalkeeper of the big games, as he was known by the Atlético fans, played eleven seasons and participated in winning the league titles of the 69 seasons/ 70, 72/73 and 76/77 and the 1972 and 1976 Cup games.
