José Mari and Jonsson: the improvement of Cádiz starts from the medullary

The return of José Mari to ownership a little over a month ago, has completely changed the face of Cádiz. In the absence of eight days for the end of the League, things in the yellow team look different and You have to give your share of responsibility to both the Roteño and Jonsson. Nobody misses that the Tacita de Plata team has improved its performance in the last matches (the results are in sight) and one of the keys is in the double pivot formed by the Spanish and the Danish.

In the case of the former, the numbers speak for themselves. José Mari returned to the title on March 6 against Eibar, after having enjoyed a few minutes against Barcelona and Betis, after overcoming his last injury that kept him off the pitch for a month (the previous one was two months). During its two ailments, the yellow team only won three games out of 17. Well, Since he returned to ownership, those from Cervera have only lost one game, drawn another and won three.

Already during the last season in which the promotion to First was achieved, the importance of the Roteño in the team was demonstrated. During his absences the team did not fuel and all the 'patches' that Cervera used ended up not working. This course is true that José Mari has grown thanks to Jonsson, although it is reciprocal. Danish is the other key piece in the Cadiz core. Since his arrival he had no rival in the double pivot, where he settled from day one. He has only missed two games and it was precisely this season that the Danish team knocked on his door, to play his first three games with his nation.

Although his work is much more defensive and creative, in the last matches he has been seen with more arrival in the area. Against Villarreal, three days ago, he saw the door, but his goal was canceled offside; Y against Getafe, in the last game, only a sensational save by David Soria prevented him from scoring his first goal. Precisely against the Madrid team he played what has probably been his best game since he wore the yellow shirt.

Yellow alert

Both José Mari and Jonsson are on 'yellow alert'. The two players lthey carry four cards and are warned of sanction. If any of them saw the warning against Celta, they would miss next Wednesday's game against Real Madrid. In addition to the two midfielders, Jairo, Lozano, Espino and Salvi are also one yellow away from completing the cycle.
