MADRID, 6 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Culture and Sports of the Government of Spain, Miquel Iceta, and the president of the Higher Sports Council, José Manuel Franco, showed their support for the Spanish team on Tuesday, after the elimination of the World Cup in Qatar, after falling in the penalty shootout against Morocco.
“There is still a lot to live and win with this team full of young people who will offer us many victories. This World Cup is an experience that will make them bigger. Now, to get up. Always with you,” Franco said in a message on his Twitter account, collected by Europa Press.
In the same way, the holder of the sports portfolio also regretted the elimination and wanted to congratulate Morocco on their victory. “A pity but it couldn’t have been. It’s time to congratulate Morocco on a good World Cup and continue supporting the team,” he said on his Twitter account.
