José Ángel Zalba, president of FASFE, dies

MADRID, 10 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of the Federation of Shareholders and Partners of Spanish Football (FASFE), José Ángel Zalba, has died this Wednesday, as reported by the organization itself on social networks.

“We regret to announce that our president, José Ángel Zalba, has passed away,” FASFE announced with a message on Twitter. From the federation they highlighted that Zalba was “an intelligent and generous person” who decided to dedicate his last years “to fighting for democracy in the sport that he loved together with grassroots fans.”
