After several days preparing his return to the program, Jorge has once again gloated over his personal drama: “I’ve been dead for a year. Sentimentally, emotionally, without feeling anything at all,” he told Bethlehem Estebanwhile both were preparing to enter the set.

His life turned upside down when his great friend Mila Ximénez died in June of last year: “Mila’s death left me totally upset. I didn’t think that much. I’ve thought a lot about this matter.”

In this sense, Jorge has explained: “With the death of Mila I have become an adult at 52 years old. With her I felt like a teenager, we did crazy things, we had fun together. During this year I have felt old, I did not want to nothing, I had no desire to undertake anything at all”.

As he has already told on occasion, he resorted to psychological help: “I got up to get up. I started going to bed at nine at night and getting up at six. With professional help I have managed to get ahead. It has been fundamental find the right person, otherwise I don’t know what would have happened”.

Thus, Jorge’s situation was worrying: “My psychologist told me that he was entering a self-destructive spiral that worried him. I noticed that I couldn’t continue there, that life couldn’t be that. I felt old.”

Now he finds himself with more strength to resume his social life, although not at the same level he was before the pandemic and before Mila’s death. “I haven’t left home for a year, without having a relationship and without feeling like it (…) I’ve come back wanting to relate, but no. I think I’ve gone through the duel, which is something you have to go through. You don’t have left another”, he has sentenced.
