Jorge Javier Vázquez announces his “see you forever” on television: “It was worth it”

Bomb. Jorge Javier Vázquez, the presenter who has marked the last decades of television from Telecinco, announced this Saturday on his social networks his “see you forever” from television. On medical leave for two weeks, the presenter is not in the final stretch of his program, Save me, which ends on June 23 after fourteen years on the air. Since then, he has not presented the galas of survivors of Thursdays.

“Forgive me for stealing a moment from you. I want to thank all those people who have contacted me to show me their love, support and understanding. Your words make me smile, move to tears and keep thinking that it was worth the effort.” pain”, has written the one of Badalona this Saturday at the beginning of his publication.

The presenter, at 52, considers that it is time to put the brake on: “But sometimes you have to stop. The body and mind send you signals and throughout my life I have been little to pay attention to them. Until today “I need to stop to take care of myself. To ask myself what I want. If I have it clear. If I don’t know, I better wait.”

For all this, he has decided to take an indefinite period of time: “Right now, going back is the last thing on my mind, although it may be what I feel like the most tomorrow. I don’t know. So for now I can only say ‘Goodbye ‘. ‘Until when I can.’ ‘Until it arises.’ And, above all, thank you. Thanks to you, it was worth it.”
