MADRID, 30 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Jonah Radebaugh is the new signing of Lenovo Tenerife for next season, a 25-year-old player who can act both as a point guard and as a shooting guard and who comes to the islands from German MHP Riesen Ludwisburg, with whom he entered the ‘ Ideal Quintet’ of the Basketball Champions League.
The North American player has played the last two seasons in Germany, where he was a key piece for Ludwisburg, with whom he finished third in the Champions League and in which he averaged 13.7 points with a three-pointer success above 40 percent, and in which he was ‘MVP’ in the month of October.
In addition, Radebaugh, who faced Lenovo Tenerife twice in continental competition, emerging victorious in both cases, averaged 14.8 points in the Bundesliga, being the team’s top scorer and one of the championship’s tops.
The sports director of Lenovo Tenerife, Aniano Cabrera, defined the new signing as “a player with good athletic ability who can play in all outside positions: one, two and even three”. “He is a player who fits perfectly into our style of play and who can help us improve our outside line to remain competitive,” he explained to the club’s media.
