Villarreal and Elche announced this Thursday the transfer to the yellow club of Colombian defender Johan Mojica, who signs with his new team for four seasons.
“Villarreal CF has reached an agreement with Elche CF for the transfer of defender Johan Mojica, who signs with the yellow club for the next four seasons,” says the ‘Submarino’ in its official statement.
Mojica, who will be under the orders of Unai Emery this Friday, thus joined a Villarreal team that will play this Sunday precisely against Elche on the fourth day of LaLiga Santander. The 30-year-old Colombian is a strong left back with offensive projection.
The coffee grower has good experience in Spanish football, where he went through Rayo Vallecano, Girona and Elche where he played the last two seasons.
