Joao Felix: “I’m happy at Chelsea, but I don’t know what will happen”

MADRID, 6 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Portuguese striker for Chelsea, Joao Felix, does not know what will happen to his future and if he will have to return to Atlético de Madrid once his loan to an English team that is “big” and in which he is “happy” ends, although it could weigh playing in the Champions League next year.

“I think nobody knows the future. Now I’m just concentrating on the match against Borussia and after that, we don’t know what will happen, although I’m happy here. The club is so big it’s incredible and everyone behind it They are so good, yes, I’m happy to be here,” said Joao Felix this Monday at the press conference prior to the match against Dortmund in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.

In this sense, he did not hide the fact that the possibility of being in the top continental competition, something now distant in his current club and closer in Atlético de Madrid, could be key. “Playing in the Champions League is always different because it’s the competition that everyone wants to play,” he admitted.

“But now I’m focused on this Champions League and on Tuesday’s game. We still have a lot of games to try to qualify for the Champions League in the Premier. Playing it is an important decision, but nobody knows the future, so let’s see what happens.” , settled.
