Joan Mir: “We are left with a positive feeling from the afternoon”

MADRID, 28 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish MotoGP rider Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) acknowledged a difficult day this Friday at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he was far from moving on to Q2, despite the fact that he improved in the afternoon and had a better feeling going into the race. To the weekend.

“In the morning it has been difficult. Sometimes you feel good with the bike and, other times, you have to fight a little more. Today was one of these days,” he said in statements provided by his team, after being 22nd in the free ones.

Mir took second place after recovering his second session and was confident that his improvement would continue on Saturday. “In the afternoon the team did a good job because I felt better, until the crash I had at turn 8,” he said.

“This crash has weighed me down since I had to go out with five laps to go on a bike that I didn’t feel comfortable with. We are left with the positive feeling of the afternoon for tomorrow. We hope to continue improving in the good direction,” he finished.
