“I made a bad start. I started riding at a good pace, but we were having several problems. When I started to get in place and reached the group in front, I fell,” he said in statements provided by his team. .
Mir crashed on the ninth lap in Austin and explained the doubts about the projection of his bike after three races. “It’s a shame because the intensity is there, but we are not going in the right direction. We have a test in Barcelona that will be very important for us. Then we will have another in Jerez, where we will understand if we have taken a step forward or not,” he said. .
“The situation is very difficult. If you want to do something else, you can’t. What happened in the race was this: you see that you are getting closer to the rivals, but the bike doesn’t respond. We have to be strong and work hard to get out of this situation,” he concluded.
