The coach of the Real Zaragoza, Juan Ignacio Martínez ‘JIM’, has pointed out after the triumph of his team (3-0) over the Castellon, which has meant the mathematical permanence in Second, that if he had not believed in the team and in salvation, he would have stayed at home in Alicante.
“I am a very positive person. I believed in the team. It seems that it has been simple but no, the journey has been hard. I have seen the suffering of the players' families and, with all that, we have reached this joy”, has outstanding.
He also added that the team deserves “great” applause and that with the victory it has freed itself “from a very strong burden”.
“I saw that the players believed in me. They made zero excuses and a high degree of competitiveness and commitment to the service of the club,” he stressed.
JIM has pointed out that the difficulty of the company was also conditioned “by the added pressure of the entity” and by the fact that “the arrival to the shore was never seen”.
In this regard, he added that at the beginning of the season the objective of Real Zaragoza was to fight for promotion and that it was necessary to “change the chip” to fight to avoid relegation, something to which he has given “more merit” and for which has praised its players by awarding them an “honorary degree” note.
