Jesse Marsch is shaping up to be Nagelsmann's successor in Leipzig

It's official now. Julian Nagelsmann will be the new coach of Bayern Munich, starting next season and a ‘domino effect’ would lead an American to the Bundesliga, as Jesse Marsch, current RB Salzburg manager, is shaping up to become Leipzig's new strategist, after his successful time in Austrian football, where he is close to lifting a new title.

Reports indicate that the American coach, trained in MLS, will become Nagelsmann's successor within Leipzig and even the journalist Fabrizio Romano, announced that it is practically a fact that Marsch will take the reins of the German team for the next season, after Bayern Munich paid Nagelsmann's clause to make him their new coach, after the departure of Hansi Flick, who in turn, will take over the German team after the European Championship.

A few days ago, Marsch himself accepted that his return to Leipzig was possible, after having been technical assistant to Ralf Rangnick and the relationship between both clubs, which are managed by Red Bull, would bring the American back to the team that is currently in second place in the Bundesliga.

Contrary to Nagelsmann, for whom Bayern paid $ 30 million for his release, Marsch has no clause to terminate his contract with the Austriac boxor, with whom he won the double last season and is currently in the first position of the Austrian Bundelsiga and is shaping up to get a new title in his second season at the helm of the Salzburg team.

Everything indicates that Jesse Marsch to become RB Leipzig's new manager and he will have won the race against Erik ten Hag, Ajax coach who had also followed for the German team, while the American himself was probed by Borussia Mönchengladbach to take the position recently vacated by Marco Rose.

The reunion with Tyler Adams

In the absence of confirmation, the 47-year-old North American strategist will take the reins of the German team from next season and He will meet again with his compatriot Tyler Adams, whom he already coached during his time with the New York Red Bulls of the MLS and with whom he won the Supporters' Shield of the 2018 season, before the American midfielder signed for Leipzig. In addition to Adams, Marsch could lead another American in Leipzig, as it became known a few months ago that NYRB's Caden Clark is very close to signing with the German side for the next season.
