The FC Barcelona player Jennifer Hermoso assured this Friday that she had held talks with Real Madrid for a possible signing, but said that “it has never gone further” despite the fact that her contract ends on June 30 and she continues in negotiations with the Blaugrana club .
“Playing for another team and being from that city… we have sometimes had a conversation with Madrid, but it has never gone any further,” said the Spanish international in statements to the ‘Què T’hi Jugues’ program on SER Catalunya.
“I’ve always felt Barça as my home. I’m very comfortable here (…) I’m finishing my contract this year, the negotiations are there”, added Hermoso, who believes that the culé proposal “needs to improve, it always needs to be improved” to complete the renovation.
Jennifer Hermoso, 31, acknowledged that “something has happened” with the whites but is focused on Barça, where he faces his third season in this second period. The Madrid striker has also worn the shirts of Atlético de Madrid, PSG and Rayo, among other teams.
