MADRID, Jan. 15 (SportsFinding) –
Colombian soccer player Jeison Murillo, 27, signed on Wednesday for RC Celta de Vigo, as a loan from UC Sampdoria and with the option to buy for the Vigo team, thus complementing the celestial defensive line.
Born in Cali on May 27, 1992, the defender has already passed the medical examination at the RC Celta Clinic. Absolute international with his team, Murillo has extensive experience in LaLiga Santander, as he played for Granada, Valencia and FC Barcelona.
He also had an important weight for Inter Milan, with which he played 69 games, scored three goals and gave two assists. In the Spanish First Division accumulates more than 70 games, as in the Italian Serie A.
With the Colombian national team he accumulates about thirty meetings, including the Copa América and qualifying for the World Cup. In this season, before joining Vigo, he had already played 12 games with Sampdoria, 10 of Serie A and two of the 'Coppa'.
On the other hand, the signing of Murillo has coincided with the agreement between Celta and Naples for the transfer of the federative rights of midfielder Stanislav Lobotka. Thus, the Slovak international leaves LaLiga after having played about a hundred matches with the light blue shirt since his arrival in 2017.
“His great performance during this time has allowed him to establish himself as one of the most important players of his national team,” Celta said on his website, thanking him for “his commitment and dedication during the two and a half seasons in the club” . Likewise, he has wished “the greatest success in his new professional stage”.
