This table will focus on sports law, human management and the economic vision of football clubs. The CEO of ISDE, Juan José Sánchez Puig, will welcome the attendees before the start of the event and will advance some details of the ISC 2022.
This third edition of the ISDE Sports Convention (ISC), the first international sports congress organized by a university academic institution, the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) in collaboration with LaLiga and the Madrid City Council, will bring together the main actors and national and international law authorities and the sports industry.
Within the framework of ISC 2022, an Awards Gala will also take place to distinguish the most outstanding organizations or personalities in the legal-sports field, and Madrid will be recognized for its designation by ACES Europe as World Capital of Sport in 2022.
Aimed at senior representatives and managers of sports law companies, Marketing and Communication directors and, among others, students specializing in Sports Law, ISC 2022 will analyze the application of good governance in sports entities, sports betting legislation, the promotion of women’s sports, sustainability and, among other issues, the digitalization process accelerated by the global pandemic.
Organized in a hybrid mode, face-to-face and streaming, ISC 2022 will be the first major international legal-sports event in a year that will see the Beijing Winter Olympics, the first Autumn World Cup in Qatar and in which Madrid will be the world epicenter of sport with the celebration of the World Capital of Sport.
Integrated into the programming of said World Capital of Sport, the ISC 2022 will inaugurate the extensive calendar of events that will make Madrid the point of reference for international sport this year along with others as outstanding as the Mutua Madrid Open tennis, the Open of Spain golf, the Madrid Marathon or, among others, the recent San Silvestre Vallecana.
