MADRID, 16 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish midfielder Javi Muñoz became the first signing of UD Las Palmas this Friday for his return to the First Division, coming from Eibar and with a two-year contract.
“Javi Muñoz (Madrid, 02/28/1995) will wear yellow for the next two seasons. The player arrives free after serving in SD Eibar for the last two seasons. He is a midfielder who is characterized by his versatility, mobility and technical quality, as well as his vision of the game”, says the yellow team.
Those from Las Palmas, who achieved their promotion directly on the last day of the second category of Spanish football, renewed García Pimienta on their bench and continue to draw up the plan for their return to the elite. Muñoz was trained in the Real Madrid youth system and made his debut with the first team.
In the 2017/18 season, the man from Madrid was loaned to Lorca FC and in the 2018/19 season he played 27 games for Real Oviedo. During the 2019/20 season, he played on loan at CD Tenerife and, in 2020/21, he played a total of 40 games with CD Mirandés. The player joined SD Eibar in the 2021/22 season, where he remained until the end of the 2022/23 season.
