The Spanish left-back Javi Galán has been announced this Monday as a new Atlético de Madrid player, who completes his first signing for next season, until June 30, 2026, according to a statement issued by the rojiblanca entity.
“Javi Galán is a new player for our club after the agreement reached with Celta for the transfer of the left-back, who will wear rojiblanco until June 30, 2026,” the mattress team officially announced.
Galán was trained in the Córdoba youth academy, with which he made his debut in the 2016-2017 season and in 2019 he arrived at Huesca, where he was promoted to the First Division. In the 2021-2022 campaign, he signs for RC Celta, a team where he has played 79 games and scored one goal in the last two seasons.
The footballer stands out for his “great offensive projection, for his arrivals to the bottom line and his crosses into the area”, as the Madrid team highlighted.
Finally, Celta thanked the “dedication, honesty and professionalism” of Javi Galán in the Celtic team. “He always offered a commendable attitude and they did an exceptional job, without haggling their efforts and with an exemplary involvement,” the statement from the Galicians concluded.
