“I’ve never seen her like this”

The journalist from La Mancha has made several headlines this week for an alleged breakup with Nacho Taboada which he was quick to deny. It is true that the situation between them has changed in recent months, as the singer, who lived with Sara Carbonero at his home in Madrid, he left the house and moved to the countryside. The reason, however, was not a distancing between them but the arrival of support, mother of the journalist, who is going through a difficult time. Iker Casillas’ ex is completely focused on caring for her mother and they assure: “I have never seen her like I saw her yesterday.”

This was revealed by Isabel Rábago, who had a telephone conversation with Sara this Thursday in which she categorically denied the sentimental breakup that was being talked about: “It is true, she tells me, that there has been a certain adjustment, but not a breakup, precisely because of the moment that Sara is going through. She is not a person who picks up the phone and clarifies information, but You have to understand what stage she is in. I have seen her and I know that she is in one of her most delicate moments. She is very, very, very vulnerable.”.

The commentator added more information: “Sara is at her most vulnerable moment because, respecting her mother’s privacy, her mother has decided to come and live in Madrid with her because she has to face a very delicate moment that has absolutely broken Sara.” And she continues: “The presence of her mother in her house has completely altered Sara’s normality, but It is a serious enough matter that Sara should stand absolutely with her mother. This, of course, has an impact on their relationship, but from there to a breakup, it is absolutely false. They are still together.”

The alarm bells about Sara Carbonero’s health went off last July, when the journalist shared a picture from the hospital on her social media. It should be remembered that Casillas’ ex was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2019, for which she had to undergo emergency surgery on two occasions and undergo chemotherapy treatment: “I went three or four months without looking in the mirror because I didn’t recognise the person in my reflection. I even lost my eyebrows, which frame the look and give personality to the face, and I was left with only one eyelash, the bravest one,” she confessed.

This time, however, the patient was not her. “Mornings in the hospital are full of things. Within these walls, any gesture, any detail, any breath of fresh air, any good news is much more appreciated,” she wrote at the time.
