Goran Ivanisevic adds a new victory in one of the most difficult finals of his life. Croatian, Wimbledon champion in 2001 and current coach of Novak Djokovic, has announced that he has tested negative for coronavirus and that the disease has passed.
Ivanisevic was one of the personalities that was infected during the celebration of the Adria Tour de Novak Djokovic, in which Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki, among others, also contracted the disease after the second event of the tour in Zadar in mid-June.
Ivanisevic himself celebrated this news as if it were a Grand Slam victory. “Free at the end! After two negative tests and two positive tests, I have tested negative again and can leave Zadar after a month. I feel like I beat the coronavirus in the fifth set … Thank you very much to the doctors and to all who made my hospital in Zadar very pleasant. I wish all those who have tested positive for a speedy recovery! “
