“It’s going to be a very complicated final for Barça and Athletic”

The coaches of Barça and Athletic of the Juvenile Division of Honor today starred in the typical protocol act of the Spanish Football Federation prior to a final. Both teams will compete tomorrow, starting at 12 noon in Las Rozas, for the Champions Cup in this category. The azulgrana come from eliminating Celta and the rojiblancos Betis in the semifinals.

Óscar López, Barça coach, has recognized that they face this duel with “a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of desire to beat a great rival, a great opponent. Surely they will pose many difficulties for us within their strengths and we, to have our idea, our game, our philosophy, our DNA.

The Barça coach considers that this final “is a reward for the perseverance, for the regularity of an entire League. My players have had an exceptional season, I think they have internalized many concepts and have managed to make a group with a lot of strength and that It is being shown throughout the League”.

Jon Solaun, for his part, makes it clear that for Athletic to have come this far is “an immense joy. The club has never enjoyed a final since this format has existed and that is the reward for a very good job that the players have done throughout the season.”

The ‘rojiblanco’ coach is clear that “this last step remains for us, we know that it will be a very complicated final due to the level of the Barça players, but we also trust in our strengths, in our potential and we face it with maximum enthusiasm and desire to compete”.
