“It’s been a very tough season”

The coach of FC Barcelona, Jesus Velasco, stated that “it has been very long and very hard, with a great desire to work on things that we could not, due to the lack of the possibility of training sessions”. And he explained what he meant: “There are players who are going to do more than 60 games and it’s a lot”. In short, “it has been a difficult season”.

He explained, about the injury, that “injuries have spared us, the players have been able to rotate and the kids from ‘B’ have helped us a lot. I know the squad we have, but it is veteran and we had to see the state of how we arrived. We got to the European Cup just fine and now we have come well”.

Before the new season, Velasco has always said that “my equipment works better the second year, we will see”. And he did not shirk responsibility. “This team is made to win and we cannot hide. We are going to try and win as much as possible”.

Aureli Mas, the responsible managerhighlighted “the magnificent work done” and also the players of the subsidiary. Jordi Torrasmanager of the section, for his part highlighted the reinforcements that will be given that “I have already done my job”.
