It will be free for Buffalo Bills fans to get to the meeting against the Steelers.

There will not be as much parking in Orchard Park this afternoon for people who want to go to a Bills game because of the snow that fell over the weekend.

There aren’t many spots to park, even though the Bills are working to keep the lots clear. To park, fans can go to the McKinley Mall, which is close to the old Sears store at 3701 McKinley Parkway.

It will drop off people at Highmark Stadium Gate 2. The bus will pick in fans in Abbott Road in front of the Bills company store after the game and take them back to where they parked at McKinley Mall.

At a news conference on Sunday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said that the wild card round game involving the visiting Steelers Steelers and the Buffalo Bills would not be moved to a different date and would instead happen on Monday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Hochul revealed on Saturday that the game would not be played as planned, which was Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, because of safety worries for the public. The Bills are giving away free shuttles for getting to the game because of this.

Western New York, and especially Orchard Park, home of the Bills’ Highmark Stadium, was hit hard by a winter storm on Sunday that dumped about 17 inches of snow and sent winds of up to 40 miles an hour through the area.

The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) said that “travel will become almost impossible,” and Hochul banned travel so that people wouldn’t have to deal with the storm.

The NWS said that most of the snow had melted by Monday morning, but it is still very cold. The NWS says it will be 18 degrees with breezes gusting to 14 mph at 4:00 p.m., which is 30 minutes before the game is supposed to start. The wind chill will be 4 degrees.

Even though the NWS says there’s a small chance of snow between noon as well as 1:00 p.m., the climate should clear up a long time before the game starts.

Even after a very bad winter storm, the Buffalo Bills moved to great measures to hold an NFL playoff game.

The Bills’ first-round game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was supposed to start at 1 p.m. Sunday, but it was changed to 4:30 p.m. Monday because of safety worries caused by the lake-effect storm that hit western New York.

Pictures and videos from Buffalo on Sunday showed how bad the vision was, which would have made it very hard to throw a football or, more importantly, drive to Orchard Park’s Highmark Stadium.

Gov. Hochul put a travel ban in place in places like Buffalo and Orchard Park to keep people off the roads. People in those towns were no longer warned at 6 a.m. Monday.

“I’m not saying it will be nice, but it won’t be dangerous either,” Hochul said on Sunday about Monday’s game.

Pics and videos taken in the stadium on Monday morning showed that the field was clear, but there were still piles of snow in the seats.

Fans were offered $20 an hour to shovel snow at the open-air Highmark Stadium from Sunday night to Monday morning. Those who agreed would not have to follow the travel ban.

“Only about 30 shovelers at [the] venue right now,” a social media user named Zach wrote around 10 a.m. Monday.

He also shared a picture of the stadium that he said a friend made for him. “I’m being told not to clear seats, just look after the walkways.”

Due to snow, parking at Highmark Stadium was limited for Monday’s game, so the Bills also provided a free bus service in nearby McKinley Mall. The team later told fans who were there to wear boots and pants that would keep their feet dry.

The first round of the NFL playoffs in Kansas City was also hampered by snow. Patrick Mahomes or the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins 26-7 on Saturday night when the temperature was -4 degrees.

The Bills beat Miami in the last game of the regular season to win the AFC East title, get the No. 2 place in the conference, and start the playoffs at home.

Josh Allen and the Bills won their last five games to finish the season 11-6. The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Buffalo Bills in a snow battle at Highmark Stadium in January of last year, removing Buffalo from the playoffs.
