“It was a problem for us”

The influencer has been at the center of controversy for days because of Tippi Tent. This is the first firm that he founded with his sister, Marta Pomboand her ex-husband, Luis Giménez, in 2017. The company has a debt that amounts to 17,504.86 euros due to the alleged non-payment of seven invoices issued between November 2023 and January 2024. This Monday, María She explained that both her sister and she separated from Tippi last July: “We felt that it was time to evolve and put an end to this story, which was beginning to be a problem for us.”

The influencer explained that she and Marta worked as Tippi’s image but did not handle billing or accounting, reserved for Giménez, the sole administrator. In fact, that was one of the reasons why they decided to leave the company: “We didn’t know about many things. We found out about this at the same time as the press and, of course, we are going to do everything we can to ensure that the situation is resolved as soon as possible”he said.

María has also referred to the personal situation that united her with Giménez, since Marta, now married to Luis Zamaolla and mother of three daughters, separated from the businessman in February 2021: “My sister’s circumstances have changed and working with her ex-husband, well, it wasn’t something… All good, but we all grow and we wanted to focus on projects in which we could contribute more because we couldn’t do it here anymore.” And he added: “We no longer have anything to do with Tippi, only the good memory. I completely understand that my name comes out for good and bad, it was used for sales and it also happens for this type of thing. Thank God, legally we have nothing to do with it.”

She has also revealed that her sister is not having a good time with this controversy: “It affects her more on a personal level because she wanted to disassociate herself from all this, to leave behind this other life and all this is stirring and it affects her. But hey “We are calm.” She has also stood up for Luis Giménez: “The logistics issues are very complicated, I don’t think Luis has stopped paying something for causing harm, there will surely be a response and a solution will be reached for sure. We are going to do everything necessary because the last thing we want is for there to be people who do not get paid for their work.
