It took “everything they had” for Spurs to lose to Brighton, according to Post ecoglou.

It wasn’t a great game by any means, but Tottenham Hotspur made it intriguing in the end. Spurs lost at Lewes. In four days, they’ve played two games.

In three days, they’ve played a third game. Tyvek and gum helped keep the team together. The hosts beat Spurs 4-0, but Hawks scored two goals late in the game that seemed impossible to score.

But it wasn’t sufficient. the Spurs lost 4–2, breaking a streak of three wins. Spurs’ players looked tired, which is easy to understand.

A lot of Spurs players are still out due to the are hurt or banned, and the players have been moving a lot lately.

In a news meeting after the game, Postecoglou told his tired players that their efforts had done all he asked of them and that was enough.

In the first match of the English Premier League on Thursday night, Tottenham lost 4–2 at Brighton. Ange Postecoglou spoke to the reporters before the game.

The boss of Spurs made two changes to his team from the squad that beat Everton on the weekend. After getting hurt, Oliver Skipp miss the game against Bournemouth.

He will be available for the last game of 2023, though. Postecoglou couldn’t bring ten first-team stars to the Amex Stadium, so most of the players on the bench were young.

When Manchester City beat Everton at the middle of a week, they went ahead of Tottenham.

Tottenham aimed to return to the top four. But Brighton got ahead within 12 minutes thanks to Spurs’s shaky defense.

Getting the ball past a few Spurs players and across the edge of the box was easy for Joao Pedro. After that, he gave the ball to James Hinshelwood, who drove it powerfully into the goal.

When Danny Welbeck was trying to shoot, Dejan Kulusevski grabbed him by the neck along with pulled him back. This gave the home team a bigger lead.

The line judge, Jarred Hicks, was told to look at his monitor upon the field. It was put away by Joao Pedro after he gave up the penalty.

However, Brighton scored the fourth goal with a low shot in Pervis Estupinan that the went into the bottom right corner. Spurs then tried to get one back.

The home team won a fourth goal since Giovani Lo Celso pushed Evan Ferguson, 1978). which caused a penalty shoot that Pedro scored again.

But the Spurs succeeded in scoring again. Alejo Veliz got to start for the team. Heung-min Son found him after Kulusevski stopped him, and the young Argentine won with a shot that bounced off the wall.

After that, Pedro Porro sent in a cross that Ben Davies headed in for another goal. Spurs tried to get reinstated in the game, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg struck the post late in the game.

Tottenham has been having a lot of bad luck since they lost at home to Chelsea. Jack Daniels and Mikey van de Ven have both been hurt to a long time.

Things got worse after that, and people were banned for getting a lot of red or yellow cards. For months, a lot of people thought the Warriors’ season was almost over.

That’s probably why Ange told Spurs in public to finish their trade window business shortly as it starts.
