Isiah Pacheco will not practice again on Thursday when the Chiefs play the Ravens.

There are only two games left in the 2024 NFL playoffs before Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. On Sunday, four teams will play in the conference championship a week.

The Baltimore Ravens, who are the top seed in the AFC, will play the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the third seed, in the first game of the day.

The day’s games will end with the NFC championship event between the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers and the No. 3 seed Detroit Lions. This game will decide who will play in the Super Bowl.

Isiah Pacheco, a running back for the Chiefs, will not be able to practice again, but it looks like he will play in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Ravens.

Andy Reid, the head coach, told the press on Thursday that Pacheco (toe) took part in the day’s walkathon. Pacheco himself said on Wednesday that he “absolutely” plans to play against Baltimore.

Against the Bills in the divisional round, Pacheco ran for 97 yards and scored a touchdown. He also caught one pass for 14 yards.

Spencer also said that linebacker Joe Thuney (pectoral), defensive back Derrick Nnadi (triceps), or receiver Skyy Moore (knee) will not be able to practice the following Thursday.

The AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens is this Sunday. The Chiefs might not have their running back Isiah Pacheco who is hurt.

The injury Pacheco got to his toe is also known as “turf toe,” and he missed his second successive practice because he is still getting through the week.

The Chiefs are in good shape right now, and having Pacheco back will help them make it to head-to-back Super Bowls.

Pacheco has been an important part of the Chiefs’ offense since his rookie year in 2022. He has been a source of production and helped the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl last year.

The Chiefs’ running back was in good shape for the last three games. In Week 18, he ran for 130 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals. In both of his playoff games, he ran for 89 and 97 yards and scored a touchdown in each.

But he seems to have gotten turf toe, an injury to his toe, in the win over the Buffalo Bills. It’s not fun, and it could make it harder for him to drive and cut like he does between the tackles.

That feels like good news right now, and the Chiefs just need to be careful with their top running back. A strong running game is going to take pressure off of Patrick Mahomes or the passing game if Kansas City wants to beat the Ravens.

This season, Baltimore’s defense has stopped teams from running for more than 100 yards nine times, and they are 8-1 when they do.

For Baltimore, the next step is clear: stop the run. Since Isiah Pacheco doesn’t look fully healthy, that may prove telling coming Sunday.

According to the report, coach Andy Reid said that Pacheco took part in the team’s morning walkthrough.

However, the running back is not expected to practice on Thursday for the second day in a row.

So, Pacheco has one more chance to work out on the field before the AFC Championship Game that Baltimore on Sunday. However, if he doesn’t practice all day Friday, he’ll probably be listed as injured going into the weekend.
