Isabel Preysler presents her Christmas reality show: “I didn't know they were going to get all over the house”

Isabel Preysler stars in reality that Disney+ launches this Tuesday, December 5. A two-part format that shows what Christmas is like in Villameona with Tamara Falco y Ana Boyer, who also participate in this unusual adventure. It is not the first program that the former Julio Iglesias: In 1998 he presented a lifestyle space on Telecinco called Today at home, although it was a real failure in ratings. Now, this docuseries promises to “leave no one indifferent” and will show some of the most unknown details of the socialite in one of the most special times of the year.

In fact, Isabel opens the doors of her house like never before to show in detail all the Christmas preparations. She admits that this opportunity surprised her: “She called me Susana (Uribarri) and it was difficult for me. But, I said 'Why not?' Although I didn't know they were going to get all over my house […]. The experience has been good, I thought it was going to cost me more, but I liked it,” she revealed in the presentation this Monday.

The production (by Disney+ together with Fremantle, responsible for hits such as Got Talent Spain o Mask Singer: guess who sings) will allow the viewer to discover the most unknown profile of the widow of Miguel Boyer in her role as mother and grandmother. According to the director of this audiovisual piece, Manuel Montejo, it was a “fantastic, beautiful and intense experience”: “It was seven days of recording, but we are very proud of the result. Isabel can be very happy with what she has transmitted, which is very powerful,” he assured.

Manuel always kept in mind that he wanted to create a “travel script” with Isabel and wanted to show what he himself perceived, a “close, natural and very human” woman with a speech that deserved to be told: “I tried to make Isabel feel comfortable. “She is an iconic woman in our society. We decided to make this proposal and it was a success, although also a challenge from the first moment,” said the director of the reality show.

It is the opportunity to know Isabel's heart. An opportunity never before granted that will allow us to enter the home of the queen of the heart and access home videos of the family, some recorded in the house she shared with her late husband, Miguel Boyer: “I felt him when we were recording. I thought it was magical and I was very excited to find those moments.”

Some very important dates that Isabel remembers with tenderness: “Miguel had a great sense of humor. He was very tender. He enjoyed celebrating. He had a great weakness for Ana. He was a great father. Very enjoyable and very loved. My children loved him very much,” Isabel said. And the former minister maintained a very special bond with Tamara, with whom he had a “very important role”: “He came home when Tamara was very little. Tamara adored him,” noted the queen of the heart.

Tamara Falcó and Ana Boyer, present in the documentary

Neither his daughters nor his grandchildren (the children of the Preysler and Fernando Verdasco's youngest) will be missing from this audiovisual piece. Let us remember that the couple has two children: Miguel, born in 2019, and Mateo, in 2020. Both came to make their famous grandmother's mouth water: “My children and my grandchildren are what I enjoy the most and have the most fun. “My grandchildren are the only ones who have carte blanche to do whatever they want,” Preysler revealed.

In the documentary, their daughters prepare an unforgettable dinner and recreate some of the most nostalgic memories of their childhood. The two installments will allow us to see how Isabel handles her daily life, as well as appreciate how she carries out the most everyday activities: having breakfast, going to meetings with her closest circle, etc. Her most private part will be revealed to know her eating routine, her hobbies and her most unknown pet peeves. These episodes will also take a tour of the loneliness of the socialite; solitude that she herself considers essential to know and enjoy herself: “I need to have my space. There are couples who do not understand that, but for me it is essential. Everyone needs moments of solitude. They are my hours,” she confessed.

According to the director, the documentary will show a “very natural and human Isabel that no one has ever seen” in a Christmas season in which she herself asks to continue having “excitement and peace” for next year.
